Katie is a qualified, registered naturopath and medical herbalist and also an accredited G.E.M.M practitioner.Previously employed in an integrated clinic working in conjunction with medical doctors, she works similarly to a general practitioner but while using the principles and practices of natural medicine. Through diet modifications, lifestyle counselling, herbal medicine and establishing vitamin and mineral deficiencies she is able to address the patients concerns and health goals. She emphasises the concept of treating the root cause of a problem and believes in empowering her patients to balance their lives and to take charge of their own health. By treating the cause, symptoms are treated. Katie's areas of expertise are digestive disorders (IBS, ulcerative colitis etc) anxiety, depression, hormonal disorders (endometriosis, PCOS, menopause etc) skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, acne etc) migraines, cardiovascular health, immune support, gut support, energy,; stress management, chronic fatigue, weight management and so much more.
