Shanae Ahern

I am a registered and degree-qualified Naturopath and Medical Herbalist. I have a passion for empowering people to make healthier choices in their everyday lives, helping them to thrive rather than just survive. My passion for natural health started from a young age and was passed down from my mum who raised my older sisters and I holistically, including encouraging us to consume wholesome foods through homemade cooking and baking. I have carried this through into the way I practice and use a diet-centered approach where possible to utilise the power of nutrition in the healing process. I also incorporate Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Supplements, Bach Flower Remedies, Lifestyle Interventions, and Functional Testing where relevant and necessary. I enjoy working with a range of people from young children through to adults, with varied health concerns and conditions. However, have a particular interest in: Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing, Women’s Health, Gastrointestinal Health, Skin Health, and Children and Teenagers. I am available for in-person consultations through the Integrated Health clinic at John's Photo Pharmacy - 292 Cameron Road, Tauranga.
